Auburn University’s Aquaponics System is a unique partnership including representation from Auburn University’s Tiger Dining; Food Systems Institute; School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences; and departments of Biosystems Engineering, Horticulture, and Poultry Science.
This project also allows Tiger Dining to serve fresh produce and fish in university dining locations soon after they’ve been harvested. To put it simply, fresher just tastes better!
