You may change your dining plan during the first 10 class days of each semester. To do this:

Log into your GET mobile app > Settings (lower right) > Change meal plan > Select the plan you were assigned > select the plan you’d like to change to > Then select “Apply to my eBill”.

If you do not have a smartphone, you may do this online:

Log into your AU Access account > My Campus tab > Select Your Meal Plan>  This will take you to the GET  website, and you’ll follow the same process as described above.

After the 10th class day, no changes may be made.

What if I plan to join a fraternity?

Fraternity Meal Plan Reduction Information

Tiger Dining provides a reduced meal plan for students enrolled in an Orange meal plan who are members of a fraternity with a required meal plan of at least 10 meals per week.  There is no application required for this program. Greek Life provides a list of qualifying members to the Campus Dining office at the conclusion of each semester. Any credit will be automatically deposited to the student’s Student Financial Services account after final exams are complete.

To be eligible, students must meet both qualifications:

  • They must be enrolled in an Orange dining plan
  • They must be a member of a fraternity that has a required meal plan providing at least 10 meals per week.

How it works:

Only the dining dollars portion of the meal plan is eligible for a refund. If there are no dining dollars left, then there will be nothing to refund. However, if you are eligible for a refund, it will be made to your eBill account by the end of December (Fall) and the end of May (Spring).

Example:

A student is registered for the Orange 5 + $450 meal plan which provides 5 meal swipes weekly at Tiger Zone in the Village or The Edge at Central Dining plus $450 dining dollars.  The student also has a required fraternity meal plan for 10 meals each week at the fraternity house.  At the end of the semester, the student only used $275 of their $450 dining dollars, so they receive a credit of $175 to their eBill.

How do I add more dining funds?

Adding Dining funds

Many students completely use their dining funds by mid-semester, so we do our best to make adding funds quick and easy. These additional dining funds are available via your Tiger Card – just like the regular dining plans.  These funds NEVER EXPIRE and you may request a refund at any time.  Add Funds via GET Mobile

There are two options for adding dining dollars.  Here are the details:

Optional dining dollars are exactly like your regular dining dollars.  They may be used to purchase food at any on-campus dining location, including food trucks and athletics concessions.

Tiger Club funds  are also available via your Tiger Card, but offer a bit more flexibility.  These funds may be used to purchase food anywhere on campus and at participating retailers in the local community.  Participating Locations List

**When you get to the end of your regular dining dollars, simply tell the cashier that you have another dining plan loaded to your Tiger Card.  The cashier will press a button to access that account, and once accessed, it will be used until you receive a new plan next semester.

What if I decide to not attend Auburn this semester?

Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control.  If you’ve registered for classes but will be unable to attend Auburn during a particular semester, you’ll need to let us know.  Simply send an email to dining@auburn.edu.  We’ll watch your account, and when your withdrawal is approved and processed, unused dining funds will be refunded to your Student Financial Services (eBill) account.

Other Important Information

I have Special Dietary Needs. Can you help me navigate my dining options on campus?

Our full-time registered dietitian is available to help you find appropriate food options on campus as well as to provide one-on-one support if you have special dietary needs. Her name is Kaiten Zajac, and you may reach her at:  zajac-kaiten@aramark.com. Kaiten played a key role in creating the True Balance Stations in our dining halls which serve a menu free from the top eight food allergens.  Occasionally, we encounter a student whose special circumstances warrant a dining plan accommodation; due to medical necessity, being away from campus, or religious restrictions that cannot be accommodated in our dining facilities.

After meeting and discussing your situation with our dietitian, you may request a dining plan accommodation:  either a dining plan reduction or a dining plan exemption, based on your particular circumstances.    Accommodations

You will need to complete this process by the 10th class day of each semester unless you have a newly-diagnosed medical condition.

I'm nowhere near campus, but have a dining charge on my account. What's up with that?

Students who work internships often receive class credit for those internship rotations, and class credit automatically triggers a dining charge to your eBill account. If you’re far away from campus, there’s a simple, online process to have the charge removed:

Accommodations

You will need to complete this process by the 10th class day to receive your exemption.

What foods are available for students who observe religious dietary practices?

As part of the Auburn Family, Tiger Dining works tirelessly to ensure everyone has a seat at the table.  On rare occasions, a student may have a dietary restriction we’re not able to completely accommodate.  For those rare situations, students may request a religious dining plan accommodation:    Accommodations

You will need to complete this process by the 10th class day to receive your exemption.
